February Race Entry Lists
The Race Entry Lists for the February Race Meeting being held on Sunday 5th February 2012 are now available:-
January 2012
2011 Club Championship Trophy Presentation
The 2011 Club Championship Trophy Presentation will be held at Rye House Kart Raceway on Friday 27th January 2012 starting at 7:00pm.
There will be a buffet and the bar will be open 'till late. All Hoddesdon Kart Club members are welcome to attend.
Trophies will be presented 1st to 5th place for:-
- Comer Cadet
- Honda Cadet
- Mini Max
- Junior Rotax
- Senior Rotax
- Rotax 177
And trophies will be presented 1st to 3rd place for:-
- Formula 100
The 2011 Driver of the Year Trophies will also be presented.
Club Membership 2012
Membership Forms for 2012 are available for download. The completed form can be posted, faxed or e-mailed.
Race Entry
Race Entry Forms for 2012 are available for download. The completed form can be posted, faxed or e-mailed.
Club Championship 2012
The Club Championship for 2012 will be held over 11 Rounds with 9 Rounds to count. Double points will be awarded for the final round in December 2012. Championship Regulations are available for download.
Honda Cadet Clubman
Hoddedson Kart Club will be offering the Honda Cadet Clubman class for the first time in 2012. The principle behind the class is to provide cost effective competitive racing without the need for expensive "Selected Parts" engines that dominate the Honda Cadet class. The Honda Cadet Clubman Class Regulations are available for download.
Formula 100
Once again HKC will be offering the opportunity for Formula 100 at Rye House in 2012. The class has MSA approval and the Formula 100 Class Regulations are available for download.
Timed Qualifying
New for 2012! Timed Qualifying will be used in all Cadet classes and drivers will participate in Timed Qualifying, 2 Heats and a Final. The grid position for Heat 1 will be determined by Timed Qualifying, the grid position for Heat 2 will be determined by the result of Heat 1.
HKC Announcement
As we approach the 2012 championship, the new club (Hoddesdon Kart Club 2012) would like to inform all drivers of its current status.
We are currently finalising the line up of our new committee which we feel will improve & benefit the smooth running of our club. Existing committee members, i.e. Graham Britten (Comp Sec) and Sue Game (Club Sec) will still remain on the new committee.
We are extremely committed to improving the club as a whole and feel that we are in a much stronger position now than in the past due to the close relationship between the new committee and the circuit at Rye House, together, we will improve your racing experience and, therefore, welcome any suggestions that you may have.
We will soon be announcing on our website the new committee members and the roles that they will play in the running of the new club. We will also be posting the dates for this years racing though there will be no change to the customary first Sunday of each month.
We are fully aware that there will be rumours circulating, as is often the case in karting but we would like to assure you that the drivers will be the first to know, so, please keep an eye on the website.
We ask that you now complete your membership and race entry form and return them to the Competition Secretary so that we can arrange that membership cards are sent to you before the first race meeting.
